Machinist III

  • Review blueprints, written specifications, or descriptions, or examine a damaged part.
  • Select the most appropriate machines and cutting tools for the job.
  • Plan the sequence of machining operations and required mathematical calculations.
  • Lay out and mark metal shock to show where cuts should be made, position and fasten the workpiece.
  • Make the cuts, performing the required operations of the equipment.
  • Monitor feed and speed of the machine, ensuring all equipment and setups are held securely.
  • Minimum 6 years machining experience, Muti-axis experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of machine shop operations
  • Strong ability to read blueprints.
  • Day Shift:  Monday – Thursday 5:00am – 3:30pm
